Our Client, an Oil and Gas Company are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to join their Aberdeen Office and support the Offshore Operations. Reporting to the Section Head HSE and the Asset Manager, you will coordinate Technical Safety and related activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee Technical Safety activities and related Improvement Projects.
• Act as the Technical Safety focal point in Risk Assessments.
• Technical HSE matters and engagement with external parties including the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), OSDR, OEUK, SCiS and clients.
• Support the wider development of Process Safety Management (PSM) improvements and assurance activities.
• Lead or participate in risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
• Oversee the effectiveness of Safety & Environmental Critical Elements (SECEs) and other Health, Safety and Environmental arrangements in place.
• Develop and monitor HSE performance indicators, audit findings and incident trends.
• Provide regular HSE and Process Safety performance reporting to Asset and Line Management.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have significant offshore oil and gas experience, strong knowledge of Technical and Process Safety Management, experience working with UK regulators, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
