MASTERDATA ANALYST

Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a MatsterData Analyst. This is a 6 Month PAYE contract role based in Aberdeen with a hybrid working system in place.

Description:

Purpose of Role:

Provide Masterdata support to the Corporate ERP systems, creating and maintaining system masterdata whilst ensuring data integrity.

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

Direct SAP Support:

Ongoing support and maintenance of finance masterdata within client SAP including, amongst others:

Business partners

GL accounts

Profit centres

JV equity groups

Cost centres & WBS elements

- Ensuring data integrity by employing and displaying robust process and controls

- Raising awareness of key cross-functional interdependencies of masterdata across systems and associated masterdata attributes

- Performing system functional integrity testing where appropriate

- Internal and external audit support as required

Other Activities

- Undertake Master data support role for Wintershall Dea systems

- Administrative support for regular user account and control reviews

- Administration for finance peripheral systems

- Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.

Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

- Degree qualified and with recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent

- Excellent accountant or qualified by experience with proven track record

- Strong analytical skills

- Experience of SAP masterdata is preferred

- Strong MS Office skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels in the organisation

- Focus on service delivery to business and functions

- Flexible and responsive to stakeholder requirements and changing environment

- Ability to deliver high quality work by deadlines and work effectively under time pressure
